One of the most ergonomically designed, aesthetically pleasing, well featured and highest performing Gen 1 night vision monoculars available on the market today. Ultra-compact, lightweight, easy to use and comfortable to hold, the new Nemesis™ offers a tactile, suregrip plastic bodyshell and, for extra protection/grip, partial rubber armouring. Featuring a premium grade Gen 1 Image Intensifier Tube (IIT), the Nemesis™ has a built-in, powerful Infrared (IR) Illuminator for use in very low light and total darkness. Power for the scope and IR is provided by 1 x 3V Lithium CR123A battery (not supplied). A green LED next to the viewfinder indicates when the Image Intensifier Tube is switched on while a red LED indicates when the IR Illuminator is switched on. A tripod socket is built-in as standard and a belt mountable case is included.

The image is bright and sharp with almost edge-to-edge clarity. The ultra-fast 37mm f1.0 lens gives 1.0x magnification that allows a wide field of view to be covered (28°), minimising the time spent scanning an area. Very good battery life is provided from a 3V Lithium CR123A (not supplied). A camera adaptor is included to allow use on SLR or video camera lenses with either a 52mm or 37mm filter thread. Power is supplied by 2 x AA/MN1500 1.5V Alkaline batteries.Supplied as standard with a compact 26mm f1.1 lens, the Lightning™ offers parity (1.0x magnification) with an ultra wide 40° field of view. An optional headmount allows the uniut to be worn as a monocular night vision goggle.For longer range observation, 3 optional multicoated lenses are available offering 2.5x, 3.9x and 6.3x magnification.A low power, short-range 5mW IR Illuminator is fitted as standard.
