Standard 250mm hand net frame, Strong, but light and easy to use.
It has a wooden handle for comfortable use in cold weather.

The aluminum alloy outer frame is 250 mm wide, and the net bag is attached by means of an inner brass frame to reduce wear. Total height of frame plus handle is 1.48 m. but can be shorter at no extra cost. There are smaller frames (200mm ) of a similar design. Environment Agency Spec

Ideal for Key Stage 1 and lower KS2, or Watch groups as well as Wildlife Trusts. These are not precision nets and they utilize a 0.8m aluminium handle with soft grip bolted to a durable lightweight frame. The net material is our standard 1mm woven mesh with the usual orange collar. However the net is attached by press studs to the frame and is therefore easily removed for washing or to replace with a sweep net

The large trays are meant for dry sorting only as they tend to twist if filled with water and specimens are lost over the edge.

These traps are designed for White-clawed native crayfish (Austropotamobius pallipes) although they can be used for other species.
A Licence is usually required to work with and capture crayfish.
Each kit contains clear assembly instructions and all the materials
needed to make 5 crayfish traps. The finished traps are 0.5m long
and 0.15m diameter.

Designed to catch crayfish in areas where there is a possibility of 'water voles' being present or young otters. Trials have confirmed its trapping efficiency as being equal to baited traps and to catch all stages of growth. These are heavy robust traps that should last a long time. These are not suitable for extraction and clearance of very large quantities of Signal crayfish.

Roomy nesting area to the left accessible via the entrance and the ‘porch’ on the right of the box. The lid can be raised to give easy access to the whole of the interior. There is a good overhang all the way round the lid and the edge is framed with tanalized battens making a very weather-proof box. Suitable for the larger waterbirds, call-ducks, large ornamental waterfowl, pochards and shellducks.
