A Square box with a rectangular entrance which allows access for the bird down into the nesting area. The lid is hinged at the back with two hinges and is framed round the edges. The box is designed to be pole fitted and this is done with an ingenious design which allows the box to be slid on to the top of the pole and firmly fixed in place with one screw accessible through the top of the box. Included with this box is a ladder giving access for the bird from water/ground to entrance of the box, the ladder being attached to the front of the box with hooks and eyes, thus allowing the ladder to find its own level on ground or water.
