Wildlife interpretation boards are an important tool for educating and informing the public about the natural environment. We can supply and install interpretation boards of varying designs and construct safe pathways leading around woodlands, lakes and other sites.

We offer fencing solutions as part of the mitigation requirements for a range of different species or for protection of stock and property. This includes newt fencing, badger fencing, reptile fencing, otter fencing and water vole fencing, installed in all terrains and compliant with the relevant legislative guidelines. 

As part of wildlife mitigation requirements or simply to enhance the habitat for nesting birds and roosting bats, we supply and install bat and bird boxes for a broad range of species. As well as sourcing high-quality boxes for our clients from reputable manufacturers, we can construct custom-made boxes to suit the job in hand.

Our skilled team of contractors can carry out all aspects of habitat management from large-scale tree and vegetation clearance, pollarding and coppicing, creation of wildlife refugia (as an enhancement for reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates) and earthworks. We regularly produce and undertake management programmes on nature reserves and other sites of conservation concern where a high standard of care is paramount in order to help preserve and enrich these important ecosystems and minimise the disturbance to protected or important species. 

We are experienced in undertaking restoration works to existing water bodies to enhance their value for wildlife by dredging, enlarging and managing aquatic flora and bankside vegetation, as well as creating new ponds as part of wildlife mitigation or enhancement to the biodiversity value of a site. We can also restore and manage other wetland habitats such as river and canal corridors, bogs and fens using green engineering techniques to reduce the power of the water, trapping silt and vegetation to halt bank erosion.

We offer a full suite of arboricultural services to ensure the safety and health of trees in all contexts. Whether it be small, domestic jobs, large-scale development works or emergency call-outs, our fully-qualified and experienced team can carry out all aspects of tree works including pruning, crown-lifts and felling and provide on-the-spot advice to our clients.

We actively encourage the planting of native tree and hedgerow species of local provenance, whether it be to enhance the biodiversity value of local areas or as part of the landscaping plans for new developments or existing estates, public recreational areas and more. From supply to planting and transplantation, we provide a full range of services. 

We can supply, erect and maintain a host of different outdoor structures to enable exploration and enjoyment of the natural environment. We offer bespoke, natural designs for pond dipping platforms, fishing pegs, jetties, boardwalks and wildlife hides, as well as other natural timber products.

Under Schedule 9 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act (1981), landowners have a legal responsibility to inhibit the spread of invasive plant species such as Japanese knotweed, Himalayan balsam and giant hogweed due to their potential to disrupt our native ecosystems. We are experienced in the control and eradication of such species.

We have been involved in numerous flood alleviation schemes over the past years, notably the ‘Slow the Flow’ project in Shropshire. Using our extensive knowledge in habitat management, pond restoration and arboriculture, we can both create and enhance natural features to help alleviate the flood risk in vulnerable areas.
